“I want to thank Laguna Treatment Hospital for saving my life. I was there a couple of weeks ago for about a week and a half because of alcohol abuse. Things were getting really bad in my life and I called them to see if I could get in. They take my insurance which is Blue Shield of California. They are one of the few places that do and that was such a relief. Them being open in these dire times was so important for someone who needed help like me. I’ve never been to a detox or rehab center before and I was really scared but I was determined to get my mental, emotional and physical health back on track. I want to thank every single employee there. I cannot express how much gratitude I have for the hard work the staff puts into the long hours they work there. They listened to me and communicated when I had questions. They were kind to other patients and on top of their game. Most of the staff are recovered addicts and it gave me and a lot of other patients hope that we can get our lives back. I want to especially thank Arlene who went above and BEYOND for me with my insurance needs as it’s extremely important to be aware of. She’s a wonder case worker and human. She really gave me a lot of hope and strength. I want to also thank Mary Ann, Manny, Nick, the kitchen staff, all the speakers and case workers and Sherri the business office manger for being so helpful with my insurance issues as well. Thank you so much Laguna Treatment Hospital! I will never forget this life saving and changing experience. There’s a lot of good people that work for you. Keep them! Thank you again.”
